Maleic acid buffer 10X (Buffer M 10X. Maleic acid buffer solution is used in non-radioactive digoxigenin based Southern blot analysis after stringent washing post hybridization with SSC/SDS based buffer solutions. Prior to anti-DIG-AP conjugate incubation the membrane is equilibrated in 1X Maleic after hybridization and then incubated in anti-DIG-AP conjugate diluted in Buffer MB composed of Maleic Acid buffer and Blocking reagent.
